Make plans to stop in and help us celebrate our 30 years on Main.  We would love to hear some of your memories of our store thru the years.  Have a little cake and coffee, shop around and then don’t forget to register for some awesome give-aways …. a Lecreuset Pan, Wusthof Knife Block Set, and a Wellness Mat to just name a few.

Knife Skills Demonstration with our Wusthof Rep – Andrew

Our Wusthof Rep, Andrew will be in the store demonstrating several different Wusthof knives during our 30 year anniversary celebration.  This will be a great opportunity to ask the expert about any knife question you might have and to try out some of his knife skill techniques.  We will have some great specials on lots of the Wusthof knives for our anniversary weekend.  Also, if you have a Wusthof knife that needs sharpening, bring it in and he will get it sharpened. – 1 pm – 6 pm

It’s Fall Ya’ll – Time to get Baking with Joyce Esfeld

Home made goodness awaits you.  Time to start thinking about Fall and Holiday baking for friends and family.  Join Joyce Esfeld to learn  a few new pie making secrets and ingredients and her absolutely favorite luncheon, brunch, or holiday yeast bread.  Demonstrating Brown Bag Apple Pie and a tangy, soft Citrus Pull-Apart Yeast Bread – complete with sweet, sticky citrus frosting.  Both of these recipes will have your guests gathering around the table, asking for more.  No experience necessary.  A complimentary tasting of soup will be served with a sample of pie and citrus bread.  Recipes provided.  Class will last until approximately 12:45 pm.   $25 person

Fall Festival Menu with Barry & Meta West

Barry and Meta are back with a four-course menu featuring a cornucopia of Fall produce (butternut squash, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, onions, apples, cranberries, pumpkin, herbs, spices, seeds and nuts) paired with pork chops.  They’ll share techniques for roasting, toasting, soup and salad making + an updated and simplified method for making a classic pumpkin roll.  Make-ahead tips will also be included for this colorful and nutrient-packed autumn meal.  Their menu includes, Roasted Butternut Soup with Cider Cream – Cabbage and Brussels Sprout Slaw with Sunflower Seeds – Smoked Pork Chops with Apple Rum Sauce / Rice, Cranberry & Almond Pilaf – Classic Pumpkin Cake Roll.  $35 person

Fall Cookie Decorating

Michelle is back for round 2 of Fall Cookie Decorating.  Her first class sold out quick and we still had a lot of interested customers that wanted to take her class.  So if you couldn’t get in her first class, here is your chance to take it.  She will be teaching you how to decorate a variety of Fall shapes including a Pumpkin, Ghost, Apple, Football, Turkey, Leaf and Candy Corn.  This class is a hands on class, so space is limited, and you will need to have some decorating tips of your own to use.  We do carry all the tips here in the store if you need to purchase any for the class.  Call today to reserve your spot!  $30 person
