Join us for an "Autumn Inspired Menu" full of seasonal flavors and aromas.
The Wests, Barry and Meta, have a sophisticated, seasonally inspired menu featuring autumn flavors and aromas. It’s a party-pleasing menu suited to a cool, crisp fall evening.
For starters: Pear, Dried Fruit & Candied Walnut Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette featuring specifics related to toasting and spicing nuts and creating a flavorful vinaigrette.
Taking center stage: Spinach & Mushroom Stuffed Roasted Pork Loin with Mushroom Gravy — including demos on butterflying a loin, tying a stuffed loin and then roasting; techniques for “sweating” (versus sautéing) vegetables for the filling and gravy making tips.
Truffle Oil-infused Mashed Potatoes will be paired with the pork with Barry explaining how to add a new twist to a classic and favorite side dish
Tangy cranberry sauce flavored with a fruit-based vinegar, a seasonal garnish, will add color to the plated meal and tempt the taste buds of diners.
For the finale: Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake— caramelized fruity goodness over a tender, light cake; a fall make over of another classic recipe.
